I worked in research for over a decade. My experience spanned academia, pharma, and a U.S. national lab, and along the way, I collaborated with chemists, engineers, and other biologists tackling problems that ranged from virology drug discovery to biodefense.
Each setting – and each team – taught me to communicate across disciplines, listen for what matters, and make complex things understandable without watering them down or wasting anyone’s time.
Writing wasn’t always something I enjoyed. I much preferred careful experiments and clean results over crafting papers and proposals. What changed wasn’t just my career – it was my perspective.
I started to see how powerful communication can be, especially when it actually connects. When it’s not just accurate, but easy to read. When it meets people where they are, whether they’re researchers, marketers, or decision-makers.
After moving to Germany, I shifted into science communication. I spent nearly five years in-house at a global biotech company working at the intersection of product management, research, and marketing strategy.
Since 2016, I’ve worked as a freelance science writer, supporting clients across Europe and the U.S.
What I bring to every project is a dual perspective: I know how the lab works, and I know how to write about it. Whether it’s a protocol, a web page, an application note, or a LinkedIn post, I help teams deliver scientific content that’s clear, credible, and built for the people who need to understand it.

Clarity. Credibility. Communication that respects the science.
